Severe Periodontitis Management
Treatment for Stage III/Stage IV periodontitis, or unresolving BPEs of 3 or 4. We focus on halting the progression of bone loss and saving your natural teeth.
Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. Treatment involves deep cleaning (root surface debridement) under local anaesthetic, and in advanced cases, periodontal surgery to access deep pockets and regenerate lost bone.
Mucogingival Surgery
Specialist surgical procedures to treat gum recession defects, covering exposed tooth roots to improve aesthetics and reduce sensitivity.
Gum recession can make teeth appear overly long and cause severe sensitivity. Using advanced microsurgical techniques, we can often graft tissue from the roof of the mouth to rebuild the lost gum line, restoring a natural, healthy smile.
Crown Lengthening
Surgical reshaping of the gum and bone tissue, performed for both aesthetic ("gummy smile") or functional/restorative reasons.
If you have a "gummy smile", aesthetic crown lengthening can reveal more of your natural teeth. Functionally, it is often required to expose more sound tooth structure so your dentist can place a well-fitting crown or bridge.
